With a headlining spot at The Opera House for The Jump Off’s 4th annual music festival, as well as spots in festivals all over Ontario, including Kitchener’s Big Music Fest and The Motorcycle Rock N’ Rumble, this summer is beginning to fill up nicely for Last Bullet.
Not far removed from a 26 show Canadian tour that saw them venture from the mountains of Whistler to the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal and everywhere in between, Last Bullet have been hard at work promoting their 2012 sophomore album “Love. Lust. Illusion.”.
With their latest single “Runnin’ Out of Time” receiving full rotation on Grand Prairie’s Rock 97.7, and garnering spins on multiple radio stations across North America, the band was inspired to venture unexplored territory and direct their own music video for the very first time.
“We’ve had to learn how to do many things on our own in this industry, and directing is something I’ve always wanted to do. This video is gritty, dark, intense and a prime example of what a band can accomplish when they truly put their mind, passion and dedication into something.” - Bryan Fontez, Frontman
“Runnin’ Out of Time” was directed and edited by Fontez, and was filmed by good friend Jon Lajoie, who also directed the band’s debut video for the track “Forget the Rest”, which was featured on the Russian national television station NIKATV.
The band’s debut, self-titled “Last Bullet EP”, also found commercial radio success in 2010, when the track “Girl’s Gone Wild” landed full rotation on Edmonton’s 100.3 The Bear, leading to spins on additional FM stations across the rest of Canada and on countless internet stations across North America, Europe, Australia and the UK.
“We’ve been noticing a void of attitude, soul, and charisma in a lot of mainstream rock music that we hear, and it seems that what we are into is few and far between. So we’re gonna help fill that void and bring the balls back to Rock N’ Roll!” - Brenden Armstrong, Lead Guitarist
With a focus on writing and performing new music for their next album, the future has never been brighter for Last Bullet. As they continue building on their past success, these boys are looking to finish off the rest of their 2014 strong. This is a band that has zero interest in taking names, they’re just here to kick your ass with Rock N’ Roll. But don’t take their word for it…
“Filthy Rock N’ Roll from Toronto.” – Alan Cross, Radio Host/Personality Indie 88.1 Toronto
“Last Bullet live, breathe and sweat rock n’ roll from the pores of each member of the band. As the musical landscape shifts and fans crave real music played by killer musicians, I believe that Last Bullet will be at the forefront of a new wave of rock bands.” – Brian Moncarz, Producer/Engineer, Bleeker Ridge, Circa Survive, Neverending White Lights
“The raunchy rockin’ track “Jet “has the kind of double entendres Nickelback would love and features a guitar sound thicker than Rob Ford.” - Kerry Doole, Music Journalist at NewCanadianMusic.ca
“In a world where the line between “Rock” and “Top40″ is blurred, Last Bullet is the kind of no bullshit rock n’ roll that stands apart from pretenders to the rock throne. They bring the kind of rock that I love playing on my show!” – Cameron Skip, Radio Host/Personality Rock 97.7 Grand Prairie, Alberta
“From the guitar riffs to the raspy vocals, their album “Love. Lust. Illusion.” is one of Canada’s finest.” - Brittany Anastacio, Radio Host 104.9 The Wolf Regina, Saskatchewan
