Fresh off of their first national tour consisting of 26 shows across Canada, Last Bullet have been hard at work promoting their second album “Love.Lust.Illusion.” which has seen them venture from the mountains of Whistler to the cobblestone streets of Montreal and everywhere in between.
Just recently having released their latest single “Runnin’ Out of Time”, Last Bullet have already achieved full rotation on Grand Prairie’s Rock 97.7, and have been featured on multiple radio stations in major cities across all of North America.
Inspired by their results, Last Bullet also recently took it upon themselves to promote the single further by giving it the full video production treatment. The official video for “Runnin Out of Time” was directed and edited by Last Bullet frontman Bryan Fontez, filmed by Jon Lajoie and has recently been released to YouTube.
When asked about the final product, Last Bullet frontman Bryan Fontez had the following to say “This video is gritty, bold, dark, and intense… Directing is something I’ve always wanted to do, and this is a prime example of what a band can accomplish when they truly put their mind, passion and dedication into something.”
The bands first album, the self-titled “Last Bullet EP”, also found commercial radio success in 2010, with the track “Girl’s Gone Wild”. The song saw rotation on one of Canada’s top 5 major rock stations, Edmonton’s 100.3 The Bear, and garnered spins on various stations across the rest of Canada.
“We’re definitely noticing a void of attitude, soul and charisma in the rock music industry and we’ve been finding it harder to get into a lot of new music that we hear. We figured the only way to fix that is to be our own solution and we’ve been proudly attempting to be just that… We’re gonna bring the balls back to Rock N’ Roll.” - Brenden Armstrong, Lead Guitarist.
Last Bullet’s video for the song “Forget the Rest” was also recently featured on the Russian National Television station NIKA TV, where musical host Valentin Chernyak dubbed the band “Fresh, Canadian, rock and roll blood. A group I wanted to introduce you to, that can and will be the glorious successor of bands like The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive.”
With interest coming in from around the world, the band is preparing for their biggest year yet, one that will see them perform across the continent and possibly further. This group of passionate and dedicated musicians, possesses an energy, charisma and overall stage show that must be seen to be understood. With that said, Last Bullet has zero interest in taking names, they’re just here to kick ass. But don’t take their word for it…
